Lisa Castelletti, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at deHaas Family Counseling, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cognitive behavior therapy.

Since 2018, Ms. Castelletti has excelled as a licensed professional counselor and since 2022 as a licensed professional clinical counselor with deHaas Family Counseling, specializing in autism and ADHD, and working with most DSM V mental health disorders, certified to provide Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters, in telehealth therapy and proficient in cognitive behavior therapy. 

After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Science in family and consumer science in 2011 from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, Ms. Castelletti followed with a Master of Science in human services in 2014 from Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut. She continued her education with a Master of Science in clinical counseling in 2018 from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.

From 2011 to 2014, Ms. Castelletti provided superior service as a classroom behavior therapist with the Cleveland Clinic Autism Center. Following completing a psychology internship with Cleveland Clinic Center for ADHD Evaluation and Treatment in 2014, she served as a cottage supervisor and assistant director of the autism unit with Bellefaire JCB, among the nation’s largest, most experienced child service agencies providing a variety of behavioral health, substance abuse, education and prevention services, in 2016. Her professional memberships include the American Counseling Association and the American Mental Health Counselors Association.

Ms. Castelletti decided to pursue a career in counseling because she was extremely interested in the workings of the brain and behavior and knew she wanted to help people who are struggling. She is most proud when she realizes her clients do not need her anymore because it means that she was able to give them all the tools they need to be independent. In the coming years, Ms. Castelletti hopes to be independently licensed, continue to grow in the profession and expand her practice.
