Jeni Barham, Chief Quality Officer at Mainline Health Systems, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care administration.
Following obtaining a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2005, Ms. Barham provided superior care as a registered nurse in the cardiac intensive care unit with St. Francis Medical Center for two years and a registered nurse with Honolulu Medical Group for five years. Since 2010, she has served as a chief quality officer with Mainline Health Systems, Inc., a federally-qualified health center and a community health center serving southeast Arkansas that provides primary healthcare to patients with 20 locations including medical, dental, and behavioral health services. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).
In recognition of her excellence in overseeing quality of care with Mainline Health Systems, Ms. Barham has been honored with a Clinical Quality Leadership Award from the Community Health Centers of Arkansas and has received the Governors Quality Award from the Arkansas Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Barham attributes her success to Mainline Health Systems, Inc. for the opportunities the organization has extended to her. Additionally, she attributes her success to the leadership of the company for their encouragement and support and allowing her to evolve her personal career while serving her community. Ms. Barham became involved in her profession because she aspired to become a nurse from a very young age. Being involved in the healthcare field has always been an interest due to her compassion for others. Initially, she aspired to work in the cardiac ICU due to her fascination in cardiology which led her to her position at St. Francis Medical Center as a cardiac ICU nurse. Later on, she moved to Hawaii and worked at the Honolulu Medical Group as a nurse in a clinical setting for five years. In 2010, she decided to go back to the mainland USA and became part of the Mainline Health Systems, Inc. as a chief quality officer.
Obtaining her Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification was Ms. Bahram’s most notable accomplishment. It is a notable achievement to her, for she was able to complete all the training and courses required to be certified and recognized as part of an elite group of healthcare professionals. In coming years, Ms. Barham is hoping for the continuous growth and expansion of Mainline Health Systems in order to serve more patients in the community. Growing with the company as well as to continue to impart her knowledge in quality improvement and risk management is something that she looks forward to as well in the future.
