Ms. Fuller currently provides superior service as a recovery coach with Recovery Café Clark County, a drug and alcohol-free recovery space that anchors its members in the sustained recovery needed to gain and maintain access to housing, social and health services, healthy relationships, education, and employment. The center offers recovery circles offering peer-to-peer support; volunteer opportunities to help members learn the rewards of giving back, improve communication abilities, develop leadership skills, and learn to interact effectively; school available to members and volunteers featuring classes that address the underlying causes of addiction; and referral services to help members gain and maintain housing, healthcare, mental health services, legal assistance and a base of support.
Ms. Fuller became attracted to working for the Recovery Café because she enjoys working with people. Earlier, she had obtained an Associate in Business Administration from San Diego State University and Cuyamaca College in El Cajon. Prior to joining the staff of the Recovery Café, Ms. Fuller volunteered in telephone recovery support. She is working on her professional certificate through the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR).
