Genevieve Schroeder, Medical Laboratory Technician at Marshfield Labs, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medical research.
After initially obtaining an associate’s degree in general studies in 2014 from the University of Wisconsin at Sheboygan, Ms. Schroeder followed with a Bachelor of Science in clinical laboratory science and medical technology in 2018 from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh (UWO), where her activities included Titan Volunteers, Office of Student Activities, the National Society of Leadership and Success and the UWO Biology/Microbiology Journal Club.
Since 2018, Ms. Schroeder has flourished as a medical laboratory technician with the Marshfield Clinic, an integrated health system serving Wisconsin founded in 1916. The system contains several hospitals and 55 clinics throughout Wisconsin, as well as a medical research institute and an education division. There, her responsibilities include carrying out procedures for extraction of body fluid samples and evaluation and analysis of those fluids, as well as examining various tissues of the body, methods of sample acquisition and preparation, and their microscopic examination.
In coming years, Ms. Schroeder is hoping for continued success in her career as a medical technician with the Marshfield Clinic.
