Jacqueline Berger-Yudelowitz, LCSW-R, ACSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in psychotherapy.
Upon earning a Master of Social Work from the Hunter College School of Social Work in 1986, Ms. Berger-Yudelowitz officially commenced her career as a licensed clinical social worker in New York City. For the past 35 years, she has excelled as a psychotherapist out of her eponymously named practice, Jacqueline Berger-Yudelowitz, where she sees clients who deal with a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, various phobias, bipolar disorder and the aftermath of sexual abuse. Her expertise lies within working with developmentally disabled children and as a family and divorce mediator.
Upon reflection of her career trajectory, Ms. Berger-Yudelowitz is particularly proud of her contributions to writing the Medicaid waiver program for the state of New York when it first began. Along with helping individual progress through their personal struggles, she values family, which is why repairing families is an important part of her job. She also loves animals. Ms. Berger-Yudelowitz advises anyone interested in entering her field to gain as much experience as possible in as many different areas of social services before settling into private practice. In five years’ time, she envisions herself continuing to make a difference in her field, as well as maintain her hobbies of attending the opera and theater productions.
