Mr. Pawlikowski obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry, cum laude, from Daemen College, Amherst, New York, in 1993 and continued his education with a Master of Arts in biology with a minor in psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo State College, New York, in 1999.
Since 2001, Mr. Pawlikowski has excelled as a clinical technologist with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), focusing on personalized medicine, therapeutic drug monitoring, and helping oncologists determine the correct dosage for their patients on particular chemo medicines. The SCCA is one of the nation’s leading cancer care centers, providing a variety of cancer treatments such as bone marrow transplantation, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, proton therapy, immunotherapy, and palliative care. The SCCA employs more than 1,200 people and treats 7,000 patients annually on average.
Previously, Mr. Pawlikowski has prospered as a Teaching Assistant with Cell Biology Laboratories at SUNY Buffalo State College and with Severn Trent, an environmental testing laboratory in western New York. He is a proud member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, a professional association based in Chicago, Illinois encompassing 130,000 pathologists and laboratory professionals that provide programs in education, certification, and advocacy on behalf of patients, pathologists, and lab professionals.
