He recently acquired a care transitioning program which he developed a year and a half ago that helps make sure that high-risk and marginalized populations of patients have additional support and that they are connected to the most efficacious community resources for their needs.
Mr. Francisco immigrated to the United States from the Philippines in 2006. After earning a Master of Arts in nursing administration and healthcare systems from Wright State University in Dayton, he joined Welcome Dayton, an organization that supports immigrants that have become community members, providing various services from access to education and health and social services and encouraging encourages economic development and promotes the cultivation of the arts. He has excelled as a staff nurse and nurse educator in cardiology, transferring to the Integrated Care Management Department in 2014 as a manager. Having initially chosen his profession due to the great need for nurses, Mr. Francisco is most proud to have connected on a personal level with many of his patients.
