Upon obtaining a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in human services in 2011 and a Master of Science in counseling and psychology in 2017 from Troy University in Alabama, Ms. Williams prospered as a graduate intern therapist and employee with Ultimate Support Services in Columbus.
As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), Ms. Williams has provided superior care since 2018 as a master’s clinician with Cedar Tree Family and Children Services, Columbus, Georgia, conducting weekly individual sessions with diverse populations with various emotional, behavioral and psychosocial problems. She also maintains client confidentiality, collaborates with supervisors to identify client goals and provide feedback, helps clients identify short-term and long-term goals and advocates for human growth and development, wellness and mental health through prevention, education and advocacy. In 2019, Ms. Williams founded Elevated Minds LLC, a counseling service providing short and long-term, individual, couples and family counseling services.
In the coming years, Ms. Williams is looking forward to completing her three-year supervision and finally earning her full license. Additionally, she is also hoping to expand her practice and be able to serve children, adults and families of diverse backgrounds.
