Paul Allan Williams Jr., clinical supervisor at Integrity Recovery Services, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Providers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mental health counseling.
Mr. Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s College of Marian University – Indianapolis, formerly known as St. Joseph’s College in 1976 before completing postgraduate coursework at Mississippi State University in 1978. Thereafter, he earned a Master of Social Work from Indiana University– Purdue University Indianapolis in 1985. During this time, he excelled as an addiction counselor at a multitude of private practices and mental health centers throughout the Indianapolis region, including Fairbanks Hospital, Cummins Mental Health Center, the American Stress and Counseling Center, and the Koala Hospital. He went on to find success as a clinical social worker at the Center for Mental Health in Anderson, Indiana, between 1994 and 2000 while also establishing himself a contract-based therapy practice at the Family Counseling Center in Avon, Indiana.
In addition to his position at Integrity Recovery Services, Mr. Williams has continued his career as a licensed clinical social worker with the St. John’s Anderson Center in Indiana. Committed to academia, he has held positions as a field instructor for Indiana Wesleyan University and Ball State University and as an instructor and lecturer at the Indiana University School of Social Work and Ivy Tech State College. Throughout his career, he has maintained professional affiliations with the American Group Psychotherapy Association and the Indiana Counselors Association for Alcohol and Drug Abuse, where he served as a case presentation evaluator from 1992 to 2001 and as chairman of the certification board from 2003 to 2004. A culmination of his accrued experience in the field, he earned certification as a master addiction counselor from the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors in 2006.
