Susan Kramer, Registered Respiratory Therapist at UCHEALTH, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in respiratory medicine.
Having cultivated an interest in the medical field since coming of age, Ms. Kramer initially desired to go into nursing. However, as time progressed, she came upon a medical book regarding the development of the lungs, thus prompting her interest in respiratory medicine. Moving from Alaska to Arizona in pursuit of her career, she attended Gateway Community College, where she completed her work to become a respiratory care therapist in 1994. Over the course of several decades, she worked in numerous capacities before enrolling in the University of Phoenix, from whom she attained an Associate of Arts in health care in 2008. Desiring to continue her education, Ms. Kramer received a Bachelor of Arts in health care management from Capella University in 2015.
Currently, Ms. Kramer excels in several roles related to respiratory medicine. Since 2015, she has served as a respiratory therapist at Penrose Hospital and, since 2017, a registered respiratory therapist at Centura Health. Most recently, in 2020, Ms. Kramer has served as a registered respiratory therapist for UCHEALTH in Colorado.
Ms. Kramer has maintained her membership with the National Board for Respiratory Care, the Society for Critical Care Medicine, the International Association for Professional Healthcare and the American Association for Respiratory Therapists, among other organizations. Attributing her success to maintaining a good attitude and to her desire for continuous learning, she intends to experience the continued success of her career in the future.
