Ms. George-Salvail became involved in her profession during her college years, in which she earned a Bachelor of Science in general business and communication from Mississippi State University in 2004. She did some recruitment for technology companies for the co-op at the college and then an internship with the Walt Disney Company that helped her to understand people as well as how to connect and network. She had such a good experience with them that she decided she would help tell people about their program. She wanted people to know and understand what opportunities were out there for them that they might not otherwise know about. Upon building her professional career, Ms. George-Salvail approached a friend of hers who worked for a local company that put physicians to work on a temporary basis. The opportunity rolled into her longest job in the health system in North Alabama, where she was able to grow and recruit hundreds of physicians.

Ms. George-Salvail began her career in 2004 as a physician recruiter with D&Y, remaining until 2007. She then became a senior recruiter with Huntsville Hospital from 2008 to 2017. In 2017, she became the vice president of recruitment at Riverchase Dermatology for one year and then was a technical recruiter and director of physician recruitment with the Healthcare Division at Goldman Sachs, VC/California Skin Institute from 2018 to 2019. Since 2020, Ms. George-Salvail has held the position of vice president of physician recruitment at Summit Dermatology and recruiter manager of U.S. Dermatology Partners. As a testament to her success, she was the recipient of a Staff Physician Recruiter of the Year Award in 2014 and was a finalist for the Jackson & Coker In-house Physician Recruiter of the Year Award in 2014. Ms. George-Salvail attributes her success to mentorship and networking, as she surrounds herself with some of the best in the business.
