Title: Registered Nurse (Retired)
Location: Prattville, Alabama, United States
Leslie B. Davis, Retired Registered Nurse, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Healthcare Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nursing.
With a strong passion for science and an unyielding drive to help others, Ms. Davis always knew she wanted to pursue a career in nursing. However, in the years following her high school graduation, she found herself on a different path in life. Ms. Davis spent many years working as a secretary for multiple different companies while traveling frequently with her husband. Though she enjoyed those years, Ms. Davis decided to fulfill her dream and become a nurse after her husband passed away.
Backed by a Bachelor of Science in religion from Huntingdon College, Ms. Davis earned her nursing degree and began working as a registered nurse 12 years ago. Since then, she has found endless amounts of success in her profession, all of which she attributes to following the word of God. Outside of her primary roles, she is active on the board of directors for the Sumeritan Counseling Center and Alumni Etowah County Leadership. Further, she is the president of the Clergy Souse Organization.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Davis sees herself continuing to grow within her field. She has found joy in renting baby equipment to traveling families and she hopes to build that up into a successful business within the next five years. She additionally hopes to travel, as she now has time to see the world, alongside spending more time with her two children and one grandchild. Her motto is, “I am here to help in any way that I can, small or large.”
