Carola H. Kuret, PhD, MSN, RN, Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance at DiSolutionsinc, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nursing.
Dr. Kuret was attracted to a career in nursing because of her natural passion for helping others. She began her journey to professional success by earning a Diploma of Nursing from Kirkland Lake Applied Arts and Technology. She then proceeded to attend Sudbury Laurentian University, where she acquired a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Though she was working as a financial planner in 1992, she transitioned into healthcare by 1998, which is when she accepted a position as a charge nurse for the North Shore Medical Center. All the while, she continued to further her education by earning a Master’s in nursing education from Regis University. Graduating with honors, she went on to take on the title of director of continuous quality improvement at North Shore Medical Center. In 2009, she broached medical education as a member of the adjunct faculty at Nova University. Later, in 2014, Dr. Kuret continued to expand her resume by acquiring a PhD in nursing from the University of Phoenix. With this, she was able to take on roles with more responsibility. She became the vice president of quality at Northwest Medical Venter that same year. Currently, Dr. Kuret is demonstrating consistent success as the vice president of quality and regulatory compliance at DiSolutionsinc.
Outside of her primary endeavors, Dr. Kuret has found success as an author, publishing numerous research studies and papers. She is additionally an active member of her industry. She has previously worked with the Registered Nurses of Ontario, the South Florida Healthcare Association, and the North Shore Medical Center Cancer Board. Currently, she participates in the Mercy Hospital Cancer Board. As a testament to her success, Dr. Kuret was most recently awarded the North Shore Medical Center Nurse Excellence Award. Looking toward the future, she hopes to move from the public setting and focus her work more on education and research, alongside earning another PhD.
