Michael Williams, EdD, Former Clinical Psychologist at Professional Psychological Services, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in psychology.
With 45 years of professional experience, Dr. Williams was a clinical psychologist with Professional Psychological Services from 1981 to 2017. In addition to his primary roles, he was a psychological services coordinator for Montgomery County Children’s Services from 1983 to 1988, and he has been recognized as professor emeritus of Wright State University since 1999, having been special education coordinator since 1992 and an associate professor since 1978. Earlier in his career, he was a school psychologist for the Dayton Board of Education from 1975 to 1978 and an instructor with the University of Cincinnati from 1972 to 1975.
Dr. Williams first pursued an education with the University of Cincinnati, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1970. He continued his studies with the school, completing a Master of Arts in 1971. He concluded his education in 1980, earning a Doctor of Education. He has been licensed as a psychologist in the state of Ohio. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Association of Black Psychologists, the National Association of School Psychologists, the Dayton Association of Black Psychologists, the Mental Health Association, and the Association of Teacher Educators.
