Beverly Croswell, lead newborn screen nurse coordinator for Kaiser Permanente, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements and leadership in nursing.
With more than 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Croswell has been the lead newborn screening nurse coordinator and the regional nurse coordinator for the birth prevention program for Southern California Kaiser Permanente since 1988. Prior to obtaining her current roles, she was a perinatal nurse educator with Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center from 1986 to 1988 and an OB-GYN deputy director with the California Hospital Medical Center from 1983 to 1985. She is a member of the Perinatal Advisory Council, One-C, and the Nurses Association of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Ms. Croswell previously held a number of positions with the LAC-USC Medical Center Women’s Hospital, including perinatal staff nurse from 1985 to 1986, and she was the birthing center nurse manager, a perinatal nurse educator, staff nurse and perinatal clinical nurse specialist from 1977 to 1983. Earlier in her career, she was a staff nurse with Sibley Memorial Hospital from 1976 to 1977. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University, and she has been certified as a registered nurse by the Nurses Association of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
