Anne Bashore, Practical Nurse Educator at the Toledo School of Practical Nursing, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Nurse Education.
With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Bashore was a practical nurse educator with the Toledo School of Practical Nursing from 1986 to 1999, also serving as the owner of St. Anne’s Limited Real Estate Investment in 1989. Prior to obtaining these roles, she was a case manager with Staff Builders Health Agency from 1984 to 1986, and she was a clinical specialist for the burn unit at St. Vincent Medical Center from 1974 to 1984. Earlier in her career, she was a staff nurse at Owens-Ill.-Libbey Glass from 1970 to 1971. Throughout all her professional endeavors, the two proudest accomplishments that stand out are her work as chairman of her church’s semi-annual rummage sale for 12 years, and her work operating the community food pantry. During her tenture as chairman of the semi-annual rummage sale, she helpe draise more than 250 thousand dollars which were dispersed to the community and charities. With the food pantry, Ms. Bashore ran it for nearly 15 years, expanding it from a few shelves to a garage-based operation that is handicap accessible.
Ms. Bashore first pursued an education with the Maumee Valley School of Nursing, earning a diploma in 1964. She continued her studies with the University of Toledo and the Medical College of Ohio, earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1987. She has also completed coursework in chemical dependency, and she holds an Associate of Arts as a National Professional Housing Advisor with the National Real Estate Investors Association. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Ohio Nurses Association, the Ohio Organization of Practical Nurse Educators, the Toledo School of Practical Nurse Educators, and the Healing Hands Prayer Group.
