Katherine Reinleitner, Psychologist and Administrator of the Mindlin Foundation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in psychology.
Dr. Reinleitner prepared for her career at Barnard College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, in 1967. She continued her academic pursuits at Columbia University, graduating with a Master of Arts in 1968, and concluded her education at the University of Washington, obtaining a PhD in 1974. After garnering experience as an intern at the Astor Home for Children, Dr. Reinleitner served as a psychologist at the Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington, from 1974 to 1983. From 1976 to 2000, she worked as a psychologist in private practice in the state of Washington, in both Bellevue and Bainbridge Island. Since its founding in 1988, she has contributed as the administrator of the Mindlin Foundation, which aims to support students and educators in science, engineering and education.
Since 2000, Dr. Reinleitner has applied her experience as a psychologist in private practice in Redmond, Washington. She holds certifications from the International College of Psychopharmacology and the American Board of Psychopharmacology and Forensic Psychology, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Advanced Practice Psychologists. In addition to her primary professional pursuits, Dr. Reinleitner is the author of five children’s books, including “What To Do After You’ve Seen the Zoo” in 1983. She received an award from the University of California San Diego for funding the institution’s Mobile Dental Clinic, which provides services in underserved communities. As a further testament to her success and stature, Dr. Reinleitner has been featured in the fifth edition of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, as well as multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of American Women.
