Dr. Mary V. Hess-Simonis, Clinical Psychologist, Educator and Founding Consultant at MVHESS Consulting LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of psychology.

Dr. Hess-Simonis has accrued over 40 years of professional experience in her field. She began her career as a psychologist at the Oakland County Child and Adolescent Clinic from 1973 to 1978, and continued to excel as a psychologist, working at the Medrano Clinic, the Whaley Children’s Center and the Psychoeducational Clinic. Afterward, she served as a therapist for Lutheran Social Services, retiring from the position in 2003. Dr. Mary Hess-Simonis was also the director of children’s religious education at St. Louis Church and a guest speaker at Wisconsin Indian-Head Technology College. Ms. Hess found success at the Family Services of Waukesha from 2003 to 2015, and currently serves as a supervisor at Northland Counseling Service. She was the founding consultant at MVHESS Consulting LLC, and presently works as a teacher at the Aurora Family Training Center.

Dr. Hess-Simonis pursued her education at Oakland University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education in 1968 and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 1973. She continued her academic pursuits at Walden University, obtaining a PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2000. Dr. Hess-Simonis is presently a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Wisconsin. As an active member of the American Counseling Association, Dr. Hess is also the author of “Did You Say Two Babies?” which was published in 1986. In a career full of highlights, she is most proud of earning a degree in Clinical Psychology and helping children grow into healthy, happy adults.
