Marsha Schroeder, counselor at a private practice, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in grief and anger management.
Driven by her desire to help people at a young age, Ms. Schroeder decided to pursue a formal education at Saginaw Valley State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1985. Soon thereafter, she secured a Masters in Counseling from Central Michigan University in 1992 and began her career as a staff member at St. Helen Catholics School for a year, in 1993. During this time, she became a licensed professional counselor through Central Michigan University. Consequently, she accepted the position of a staff member with St. Peter and Paul Catholic School and later, St. Stephen Catholic School in Saginaw, Michigan, between 1994 and 2000.
As she progressed through her career, Ms. Schroeder worked intermittently as an adjunct faculty member for the Delta College in Michigan, while continuing her time as a therapist for the Catholic Family Service in Saginaw, until 2010. Furthermore, she has been active at her own private practice in East Tawas, Michigan, since 2003. The advice Ms. Schroeder offers the next generation or others aspiring to work in her profession is to truly have a passion for helping others. An exceptional Marquis listee, she has been featured in editions of Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of American Women. Outside of her career, she enjoys swimming, tennis, traveling, writing, gardening, car shows and spending time with her grandchildren Meghan, David, Dylan, Dustin and his wife Janelle.
