Randy Hendrix, Psychotherapist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in psychotherapy and counseling psychology.
With 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Hendrix has been in private practice for psychotherapy since 1987. In addition to his primary role, he was program coordinator and therapist in the adolescent acute care unit at Hillcrest Health Center from 1990 to 1992. Earlier in his career, he was a psychotherapist with Juvenile Treatment Center from 1983 to 1989 and a minister with Church of Christ from 1979 to 1981. Furthermore, he was a therapist for the Bethesda Non-Violent Sex Offenders Program from 1986 to 1987.
Mr. Hendrix began his career as a student at Oklahoma Christian College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1978. He continued his studies with the University of Oklahoma, earning a Master of Education in counseling psychology in 1983. He has been licensed as a professional counselor in the state of Oklahoma, and he is a licensed marriage and family therapist. He credits his career to not being a typical psychotherapist, bringing the human touch to each client and working toward keeping marriages, couples, families together.
