Prior to these engagements, she was a faculty member at Lane Community College for 20 years, having formerly spent 10 years driving charter buses for Grey Line Tours and 12 years in bookkeeping and accounting for various small businesses. A truly versatile figure in her field, she has repeatedly excelled in her endeavors.
Ms. Fudge holds an associate degree from Phoenix College, and a bachelor ’s degree in applied zoology and a master’s degree from San Diego State University. While achieving her master’s degree in counselor education, Ms. Fudge worked for the City Of San Diego in residential refuse collection as a trash collector and is proud of this work as she worked with gracious and highly responsible people. Prior to this role, she worked for Greyline Tours as a tour and charter driver for 10 years in the city of San Diego. She holds a commercial bus driver’s license that permits her to drive tractor trailer, doubles/ triples, tank vehicles and passenger vehicles. Ms. Fudge is a counselor as well as a certified drug and alcohol counselor in the state of Oregon. A member of the American Counseling Association, she attributes her success to her inherent ability to listen closely to each of her clients, tailoring their sessions on a personalized basis and ensuring that their concerns are met with consideration.
Ms. Fudge has met a great deal of people throughout the course of her career and is especially grateful for those instrumental in her growth. Kathryn Clausen, PhD was the clinical supervisor who supported her throughout my master’s internship and for most of my licensing hours after graduation. Esther Cardall, LCSW mentored Ms. Fudge and helped her obtain her first internship site and make my way through the process of becoming a professional. Furthermore, Ms. Fudge is thankful for Thomas Hurd, CADC-II who she first met when she was a student at Lane Community College who now serves as her teaching assistant in the group counseling skills class she teaches each spring term.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to her industry, Ms. Fudge was featured in the 65th edition of Who’s Who in America, published in 2010. The proud mother of one daughter, she enjoys reading, knitting, walking and practicing yoga in her spare time.
