Joanne M. Moff, Physician Assistant at Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Providers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medicine.
Hooked on health care since her very first anatomy class in high school, Ms. Moff has dedicated her career to the field. She served as a physician assistant in cardiothoracic surgery between 2000 and 2008, in general and bariatric surgery between 2008 and 2012, and orthopedic surgery between 2012 and 2016. Ms. Moff also joined Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates as a physician assistant in 2012, and she remains there to this day. She attributes her ongoing success to her family, particularly her sisters and her husband, and to her passion for patient care.
Ms. Moff prepared for her endeavors by earning a Bachelor of Arts in education from Wright State University and a PA—C degree for physician assistant studies from the Kettering College of Medical Arts. To keep in touch with her peers and professional community, she joined prominent organizations like the American Academy of PAs, the International Association of Healthcare Professionals, and Kappa Delta Pi.
Looking to the future, Ms. Moff is planning to go to Guatemala this winter for her first missionary trip. She would like to make missionary trips a more regular occurrence for her.
