After taking time off to raise her children, she returned to education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, cum laude, from the University of South Alabama in 1998. She has since become a registered nurse in the states of Florida and Nevada.
Ms. Raisler is a certified professional in health care quality and utilization review, an accredited case manager, and an instructor in Interequal. She most recently served as a leader teaching criteria for hospitalization at McKethen Health System from 2007 to 2008, which was preceded by her role as a systems director and care coordinator at Washoe Health Systems from 2005 to 2006. Prior to these appointments, she served several facilities in Pensacola, FL, as a quality assurance coordinator, medical services manager, and director of managed care, beginning in 1987.
A contributor of several articles in newsletters and a music minister with the First Baptist of Milton, Ms. Raisler has accrued several honors throughout her career. During her tenure with Baptist Health Care, she received the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. In addition, she obtained a fellowship through Alpha Beta Chi in 1998. In recognition of her exceptional accomplishments, she was also selected for inclusion in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who’s Who of American Women.
